he’s raving
he’s not what he used to be
he chased it all his life
and unfortunately he’s caught it
and he’ll spend his remaining time spreading it
at this stage all they want
is to speed up the ending
the damage has been done
his time is over
and he knows it
he just wants out
because they always think it ends when they do
there’s no arguing with them
it’s too far along
it’s time to let the professionals do their jobs
it’s about his kids now
they’re sure to catch it too
it’s about prevention
of an early intervention
and perhaps
in seven generations
the family can move on
