After being dragged forcibly through a closed distance from Former Hell to the Sanzu River, it seems like it's time for a post about the lazy shinigami who rows her boat as usual. Saying she's lazy is a given, nobody really is unaware of that fact. Though the why is quite fascinating. Sure, in part she's just a carefree girl who doesn't much worry about the work, but there's a bit more there. While hearing about the stories of those who have lived is always a treat, it's those who are soon to die that rub her the wrong way. No matter how carefree she acts or what her job seems to be, she still likes people living full lives. Of course helping them would be a faux pas, but then she's a lazy shinigami who doesn't much pay attention to her job regardless, so maybe a few people could receive some help here and there. Here, a song to you lost souls. Death comes for all and accepting such isn't a negative. Live your life well and have a wonderful story to tell at the end of it all.

Bankikki! Ah, she doesn't quite like that nickname. She cannot see herself as cute no matter what. Poor girl just sees herself as someone to be left lonely as she occasionally scares a few passersby at night and works during the day. She could use with a reality check on just how cute she is.

It's the day of the Yama, and thus the day of Eiki Shiki. The yama of Gensokyo, she's not quite as overworked as the yama outside. Still, death is death and people are bound to die regardless, so the yama must fulfill her duty. Thanks to this duty and her other job, scolding those who still live to remind them of their sins, she's often a disliked girl. Not many wish to deal with a reminder of their sins. Still she fulfills her role quite well, and I think Eiki is a nice girl despite it all. High speed rad judgement. Accept your fate and understand your sins.

Admiration time for the cute little fairies once again. An odd topic though, as the fairies have obtained a bomb. Again. It's quite astounding how often and how easily the fairies obtain bombs, especially Star Sapphire. It fits her M.O. at least, arrive first and escape first, sacrificing the others. Still don't be surprised if a snowman you may run across is full of explosives.

Posting Tewi made me think about a Tewi post. Thus, you get a Tewi post today. Tewi is an odd one. A very odd one. She's constantly acting like a standard childish youkai rabbit, playing pranks and avoiding responsibility, but she's definitely not just a standard rabbit. For as much as Eirin and Kaguya rule Eientei, the bamboo forest of the lost is Tewi's domain. Her act of being a standard weak youkai is quite concerning. She's definitely far more. Possibly a god? Whatever she is, she's more than old enough to compete with gods in terms of age (I was going to use Yukari as a comparison but she's probably far younger than Tewi, still a hag but time travel screws with the measurements). Regardless of all this, it's best to just treat her nicely. Her spreading of luck is always of value. Wanted something more mixed in tone, yet I couldn't refrain. TEWI! TEWI! TEWI! TEWI! TEWI! :cirno_dance: A classic from Sekken'ya. Sometimes it's best to just have some fun.

The winter may be cold, but there's still much to enjoy within it. A goddess like Suwako can understand that, she can be seen making things such as snow sculptures. How wonderfully cute.
