@Python Software Foundation have paused its grants program. This came as shock to many. A lot of people benefit from #Python , many lives have been changed. But very few consider giving something back or paying it forward. Here are some of my thoughts on the matter:
Pay it forward
A response to the PSF's grant freeze
 If you have benefited from Python, please consider paying it forward by supporting communities and events that you care about. Or by supporting the PSF directly.
In case you have not heard, PyCon Africa is coming to South Africa this year - marking the first major international Python conference in Southern Africa! We're not just hosting an event - we're growing the Southern African #Python community. Part of how we do that is by offering financal help to folks who would get a lot of benefit from the event, but can't afford to attend. Students, teachers, community leaders, young professionals... we want to open as many doors as we can! @PyCon Africa
