So, I really like my go-to travel laptop. It's a Lenovo #ThinkPad X1 Carbon, but it's literally a first generation. Gen1 was first released in 2012, and while it runs pretty well considering its age, more modern software is starting to be pretty slow. I've got my eye on a Gen7 X1 Carbon, but I was hoping to hear about other people's experience with them. Of course I'd be running Linux, probably #ZorinOS 18. Does anybody have any experience with that generation that can give me their thoughts?

It being a brand new year and all, people are making all kinds of New Year's resolutions. I've been pretty slack about updating my blog, and I'd like to make a New Year's resolution that I'll update it more and make an effort to write. The problem I'm having is I want to want to write, but I don't want to write. I know before I make that resolution that I'll just end up breaking it. Making a resolution I know I'm going to break is dumb. Maybe something small, like once a month? Maybe?
