I haven't participated in #Caturday for a long time, mostly because I haven't had a cat. Recently we've rectified that situation. We found a brother and sister and just couldn't resist.
I've been seeing this error for the last couple days, and it's pretty damn annoying. The really, REALLY stupid part about it is I only see the error when I'm logged into my Google account. If I'm logged out, I don't see it. What compounds the stupid of that is I pay for YouTube Premium explicitly so I don't have to worry about their ads. So, if I'm logged into my account where I pay to not see ads, I get annoying error messages, but not if I'm logged out. So stupid.
I just looked at the second lesson for the college course I'm currently taking. There's whole sections in here about SLAs and SOPs.
This is like a top 10 of the worst parts about my job.
Just saw a really interesting presentation of some of the new features coming to #Vivaldi in their next release. Vivaldi is SO versatile, so it's pretty impossible to use EVERY feature, but so much of this next release looks like they had just me in mind. I'm counting down the days.

Oh. Uh, goody? </sarcasm>
I can't think of a feature on YouTube I'd appreciate less than this. You know, short of just making the entire platform only ads.
Woke up to find a search on my work computer for "suyyyyyyyyyyyyyy /0000000000000000000000000000". We just got new kitties, and I've forgotten what cats do when you're sleeping....
Note to self: Close the laptop when you're done.
I feel like I shouldn't have to say this, but Grok doesn't have morals. Or a constitution. It's not alive, and it's not conscious. The people who created Grok should have moral constitutions. Grok is a text extruder. That's it. We need to stop personifying it (and other LLMs). Of course, Musk should also know all of this, but it's in his best interest to treat Grok as a living thing to both enhance customer attachment and allow for shifting of blame.
I sometimes forget that Threads is still a thing. I'm not a fan of Threads personally, and moving from Twitter to Threads feels like leaving one dumpster fire for a different dumpster fire with only slightly less fire, but I guess there is less fire. Are the choices here only Musk or Zuck?? Because that feels like some really bad choices. If I HAD to choose one, I'd choose Zuck, but I don't really have to choose one.
