MSCI salted the earth. The damage is done regardless of a retraction. #wallstreet_scumbags
Pretty awesome heavy guitar riff. Detuned to the max. Xander Raymond Charles. @Contra I figured you might dig this. #metal #grownostr
After countless hours of study on Austrian economics, agorism, anarchism, sound money, Bitcoin self custody, the banking system, and the ills of fiat currency and fiat employment, I’ve finally found a solution. I’m thinking it’ll assist in achieving harmony and common ground with most of those who surround me in RL. image
Surf scenes in Canada. You definitely have to “want it” up here. I’ve never lived anywhere closer than a 12 hour trek from any of these spots, very briefly. Never having surfed has been one of the biggest “first world problem” holes in my life. Maybe when I escape fiat land I will still be fit and lean enough to learn to kite surf somewhere. I’ve come so close. I worked at a windsurf and snowboard shop that also ran a windsurfing school. I shredded powpow for free on “pro deal” equipment and free retailer passes at Whistler and Blackcomb. I worked and lived with guys that dropped their whole lives for a year at a time to chase waves. My Belgian roomy moved back to the Dominican and launched a successful kite surfing equipment business with sponsored riders and distribution all over the world. I visited Cuba a couple years ago and there was literally a mural of him on the wall in the resort’s hotel lobby, with his unmistakable logo on the board. The guy is a legend. I was blown away. That Belgian shit was the most extreme guy I ever met. I did scores of parachute jumps and a couple of BASE jumps with him. Anywhere landlocked that I’ve been able, I have lived in the water. Anything resembling a wave on a lake on stormy days, I have paddled madly toward shore with it, to catch even a little bit of its energy. Lots of snowboarding, rock climbing and skydiving in my younger days, but the ocean has eluded me. It calls to me still. #surfstr #grownostr
