🇦🇺▶️What is going on in AUSTRALIA, and other western countries right now, is very SCARY. The government is trying to reinforce a bill that will allow government to say what is information and what's misinformation under the protection narrative.
THE CORE OF DEMOCRACY IS people's ability to "DISTRUST". Any trust based society that calls itself democracy ensured citizens can "distrust".
Now, by reintroducing this bill, we are seeing an attempt of the government to take away this right. No one can pre-determine what is lie and what's truth, be it an individual or a government because that would mean the government never errs (they are not machine, they are humans like you although it often doesn't seem so) and that the GOVERNMENT IS ABOVE PEOPLE..
What's true and what's not true needs to be debated, NOT PREDEFINED BY THE GOVERNMENT.
I am going to spend this weekend by sending emails to senators to STOP THIS COMMUNIST NONSENSE for once. 🇦🇺◀️
