DuckDuckGo is donating $1.1 million in 2024 to support organizations that share our vision of raising the standard of trust online.
In our latest AI testing, the leading chatbots were pretty decent at detecting and debunking known misinformation about fake ballots, broken voting machines and other election lies. With one notable – and surprising – exception: ChatGPT.
OpenAI announced on its blog last month that it would protect against lies about the vote count starting on Nov. 5. But in our testing on Nov. 4 and 5, we did not see evidence that the company was following through.
