Progress report on the doggy....after copious time hand sanding it's looking smoother and more refined....any input appreciated! It isn't finished but progress and proof of work is taking place!
After the pleasing outcome of the tiny dog I carved previously, I decided to make a slightly larger one to enable me to put a little more detail into it.....what do we think so far?
Tiny Schnauzer dog woodcarving is now painted and ready to show! Measuring in at approx 1in x 1/2in, carved in basswood and finished with teak oil before painting with watered down acrylics. This carving tested my knife handling abilities that's for sure! What do u think?
