A little showcase of my latest design....roosters. it's helped me learn to cut in angles and understand the necessity to think in 3D rather than 2D. Should I paint them? What colours? Which is your favourite?

I've been going on a "beak" journey lately, learning how to carve specific angles to get a bird beak that I like, here are some of my efforts, what do y'all think?

What most people don't seem to grasp is that the singularity isn't a single point in time. We are in it right now. I've been saying this for the last year.

I just carved a cockerel and the reason I'm happy with this piece is because I designed it, calculated the angles of cutting needed, and executed. I'm finally beginning to understand how to think in 3D - so necessary when carving on a non flat surface like basswood blocks! Feedback appreciated!
