A fresh medical doctor graduated from medical school with excellent degree and second rank of my class, I'm responsible for 6 of my family with chronic diseases, our house was destroyed and now we live in dire circumstances, l hope to start my specialty in UK in orthopedic department with that I will help my family and folks in Palestine. Today, I attended the graduation ceremony of 230 medical students from the Faculty of Medicine in Gaza. They graduated under extremely difficult conditions, amidst war and destruction. Yet, I say to the world from Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza we love life and we always strive to be the best.

As a volunteer doctor in the hospitals of Gaza for over two years, and currently volunteering at Al-Shifa Hospital in northern Gaza, I want to tell the world: we are extremely exhausted. One of our achievements today in the operating department in Gaza hospital,despite the internet blackout,was saving a lot of cases one of them is Ali, a father of six who was hit by an airstrike while on his way to get a kilo of flour (6 loaves), which now costs $30 in Gaza. The surgery lasted 3 hours. He is now in stable condition and will soon be discharged so he can feed his children. One of the most heartbreaking realities that unfolded at Al-Shifa Hospital in north Gaza and this's the simplest case that we can face: A young child,rescued from the rubble of his home after being injured,was brought in for treatment. But instead of pleading for help, he told us "Don't treat me. I want to die.
