Haida Gwaii, where I lived with Hubs for 9 years, has had disastrous flooding. Only one road on the whole island (Graham Island) cut through by raging waters, mudslides, streams destroyed, but people taking in those who are stranded, sharing food. The grocery shipment stuck at the south end. The news pretends like it doesn’t exist. Self Sufficient friends & family will manage, but emergencies not so much. #Canada #BC #HaidaGwaii
