Any recommendations on external drives? I have an old HDD that I need to replace.
It's taken 18 years, but I have finally come cross a student whose handwriting I can legitimately not read.

Today in the classroom: First year chem is taking a test on the periodic table. Some basic stuff like valence shell and valence electrons, and drawing Bohr models/Lewis diragrams. They'll also explain periodic properties relating the observations back to atomic structure. This is the last unit test of the year. Second year chem will do VSEPR theory today using carbon as an example. With only 2 unpaired electrons, how does it make four bonds? #chemistry #teaching :cupofcoffee:
Anyone have a FOSS fitness tracker they like? I've signed up at a local gym for the winter and I'd like a way to log activities each week. This is only for me so I can make sure I'm getting my money's worth. Android, prefer local apps with no login/signup. #askfedi #fitness
Well. That was a good guess. #wordle ⬛⬛🟨⬛⬛ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
15 years ago, my wife and I were able to go to Thailand for Christmas. We spent two weeks between Phuket and Phi Phi Island. Both are ferries from the mainland and you go around immense limestone cliffs. This was painted from a photo we took while heading out snorkeling. I can't believe it was so long ago already. #watercolor #aquarelle #mastoart image
We're at the end of a unit and I've had _wayyy_ too much down time in class. It's hard because some students are far behind and need some time to catch up, others are finished with everything and just have a ton of leftover time. I'm not striking a good balance this week.
