What's a good alternative to Postman these days for testing API endpoints?

#Chemistry fediverse, I'm reaching out one more time for help: I have a spreadsheet with rate data from testing a new lab [1]. The iodate showed a nice 2nd order result, but the bisulfite is throwing me off. HSO3- is confusing me. Warm had wide variations, cold did better. I didn't think temp would change the rate order, but I'm not sure what to do with it. Calculated cold ~ [HSO3-]^2, calculated hot ~ [HSO3-]^3.5. My math works, but feeling stuck on why. 1. #askfedi
Does anyone have an iodine clock reaction procedure they like for AP/IB chemistry? I've looked at a dozen or so that are a little too advanced. I'd rather not retype one if I can avoid it. #teaching #chemistry #askfedi
How do you go about a #CSS cleanup? This is not a redesign - more of an audit and rewrite to consolidate selectors that have sprawled into difficult to manage territories. Any strategies and tips appreciated. #webdev #askfedi
I have to download Facebook messenger to do a thing and I'm really wrestling with whether or not it's worth it.
So. Yeah. I'm going to school and I'm going to teach science. I'm going to teach kids how to read and understand information. I'm going to teach them how to make informed decisions. I'm going to teach them to be kind to one another. To show dignity to one another. To have empathy for other people. That's about all I can do.
#git question: I'm teaching a web dev course and I have a main repo with all of the assignments, instructions, etc. Github Classroom would allow me to assign template projects, but they have to be standalone repos. Is this a use case for submodules? I've looked at them in the past, but not in detail. I'd split each folder into a separate repo and then collect all of them under one master with everything in it. Does that sound right?
Does anyone know of a service or site that provides boilerplate HTML pages to use as starting points for CSS exercises for students? I'm talking just a template with a bunch of different elements with some placeholder content. I can surely write one myself, but if there's something that exists, that would be dandy, too. #askfedi
