When you record the same instrument in the same studio and process it more or less the same way, you can avoid doing all the configuration over and over again. All you have to do to save time is create and then use a track template. Here is how you do it

You can get quick access to a small selection of hundreds of plugins easily by adding them to your favorites. Here is how you do that
Complex plugins can display tens and even hundreds of controls. You might just want quick access to a couple of them to tweak while working. That's where inline mixer controls come in handy!
We will ship an updated General MIDI soundfont in Ardour 9 (whenever it's ready for release). It will sound better, but it may also sound different in some cases. Please test it and tell us what you think!
