We've just tagged the second release candidate of Ardour 9.0 and announced strings freeze, so that translators can start their work safely. Please use to download and test. Since Ardour 9.0 is not yet ready for production use, please do not package it for Linux distributions. We expect to tag at least one more release candidate.
Mastering for different media requires extra work. Major streaming platforms have different ideas about what the perceived loudness of your music should be, and expect you to conform to them. With Ardour, you don’t have to make all these adjustments manually every time you need to export a project. Instead, you can export multiple variations of a mix from presets.
