I created a new mastodon account today as part of theforkiverse.com (yes I'm Fediversemaxxing as Casey says) and I have to say that new user onboarding has gotten SO much better. Particularly love the welcome email. Well done @Eugen Rochko and team!!

Excited that @Casey Newton @npub1vv5k...pa2g and @npub1k3xj...7spv are building their own Mastodon instance called the Forkiverse.
And I absolutely loved the vibe coding experiments Casey and Kevin did to make their own personal web sites (cnewton.org and kevinroose.com)
Feels like we are taking some of the best aspects of the internet we loved and lost and bringing them together with new tech in ways that are incredibly promising for the internet going forward. Bravo.
