The flat design revolution, which is now so deeply embedded in UI/UX we no longer bother to name it, has now moved its quest to make all icons monochrome, abstract and denuded of detail to the point where the "profile" icon for Tidal now appears to be some sort of glyph of a insect or fairy Following historical trends, before long these icons will start to be used as analogues for their sounds, creating the basis of a primitive alphabet. What you see below will someday be the character for "P". image
Heyβ€” please reply to this telling me which operating system you are reading this post on, and what if anything you see after this colon: 🏴󠁡󠁳󠁴󠁸󠁿 EDIT: Okay you can stop replying now. Results: This is a nonstandard emoji sequence for the Texas flag; it appears to ONLY display as the Texas flag on Linux, and only SOME versions of Linux, and I can't figure out the pattern for which ones. Most machines show a black flag, which is not the fallback I'd want (I'd want the letters USTX to be visible).
