When I see someone thriving or happy, I piggy back on their joy and ride it like a rodeo cowboy, especially if things aren’t going well for me. My strong recommendation is to give that a try instead of getting triggered and trying to piss all over their parade so they stumble into the darkness right next to you to keep your misery company.
Go to where they are instead.
Go toward the light.
