Ports are resoldered and working. I don't know if I will ever do that job again. PS5 repair is a pain in ass. The Ground plane takes insane heat to melt the pads. I had one of the legs for the usb break in the via. I had to use 850F hot air and tweezers to push it out and clear one of them. I got it all assembed after a ton of management and about 60 torx screws later and the ports seem to be working. Sadly the guy didn't give me a controller to fully test the system.

here's your lesson kids. Playstation 5 and vapes don't mix. I gotta tear this apart to replace mangled usb ports. The internals of this system are really dirty. SHould've charged more than $63 for the repair. Ah well live and learn lol. Next time someone has a dirty console i'm surcharging that shit.

Was trying to unlock this theme. Turns out my Series 1 elite controller is dogshit and doesn't input the buttons correctly so I had to use another controller and now I got 1984 mode in tetris. I'll probalby sell that controller with my original xbone soon since I go a series S and the thing is just collecting dust. i kept it around so I could use my physical 360 discs to reduce wear and tear on the aging 360s. @cool_boy_mew This works on the switch version too with the konami code. I'm not sure how to enter the date but if you do you get 1984 mode which i a cool easter egg.

I get why they did it but the reasoning is still retarded.
