I've felt this desire to migrate all my personal sites off of relying on 3rd-party CI and to, instead, make all "build" steps happen on my laptop. Then merely push the resulting files to my host (Netlify). Plus the holidays are approaching. I feel the gravity of this black hole project sucking me in. Send help.

📝 I'm a curmudgeon for doing menu items without icons (unless you can give a good reason to include them). And apparently Apple used to recommend the opposite of what they now do in Tahoe.

I bought something from the Netflix shop, and you won’t believe what happened next…I’ve never seen it done! Rather than automatically subscribe me to their promotions, they sent me an email to confirm that I wanted to be subscribed. Would prefer this over the currently-accepted industry standard. Props.
