We all enjoy that moment when the full back overlaps and fires the ball in but to do that and have an extra man up field you have to accept a less than brilliant defender. Paolo Maldini was a great defender, worth his place purely for his defending but he was never going to fire crosses into the box. You have to decide what you want.
