I’m putting together a simple model for writing online without depending on platforms.
I publish texts here and on other networks in a clean, readable format.
But the origin of each text lives in a directory under my control, accompanied by a cryptographic signature.
The idea is to separate three things that are usually mixed together:
– writing (creation)
– distribution (reach)
– authorship (proof)
Networks are useful for distribution.
Not for defining identity or preserving time.
If someone copies a text, edits it, or takes it out of context, there is always an original signed reference that makes it possible to verify what was written and when.
It’s not for everyone, and it’s not meant to be normative.
It’s simply the model that best fits how I understand digital sovereignty and long-term writing.
