Back in the late 90s I did a work placement with "Loaded" magazine in London. The editor of the time had come from one of the big newspapers, and told me how all of the UK news industry knew about Prince Andrew's awful activities, had the smoking gun evidence, and that they couldn't publish because of massive threats over their heads. They all toed the line.
I'm not one for conspiracy theories but it does seem the establishment wields enormous power when it wants to protect its own.

Mr Johnson : Good. Look, my daughter arrives today. Can you arrange a nice hand bag as a gift? She likes Dior and Versace.
CSM: Of course. Any preference on price?
Mr J: You choose. It'll save me a fortune if I don't have to take her shopping.
CSM: Consider it done. I'll have it sent to your room shortly.
I haven't left the hotel today. The jet lag has reached Actually Hallucinating proportions.
I don't do well heading East long haul. Other directions are fine 🤷
