Quilting progress… iris pattern has been made and first block of this last row of blocks is done! 15 more irises to make.. …meanwhile, working out the layout of my rows and blocks and figuring out sashing color combo ideas.. this quilt is going to be huge 🤣😅

Bits of quilting progress.. I am working on a sampler and the blocks for the inner rows are now done.. ..so I am laying out and starting to sew the many detailed peony blocks (which look sooo bright in their incomplete state) and I am mocking up the diamond pattern corner blocks (which I will probably sew before I finish all the peonies).. dashing and assembly of all the blocks will happen last

GM nostriches @FoxByte and I are in the deep wilderness of Great Basin National Park and are so excited to share our #coffechain this morning. We woke up to the golden glow of sunlight trickling across the spires of Wheeler Peak. We are at 11000 ft. Wheeler peak is 13000 ft. One of our first orders of business was to setup the HF ham radios and activate the park. It is gorgeous up here! #plebchain #gm #amateurradio #hamradio
