The era of Nostr apps on web servers is actually already over. Most Nostriches just don't know it yet. Apps on web servers are just leftovers from the era of centralization and authorization. How can someone claim to love 'freedom and sovereigntyβ€˜ and then be dependent on someone else's web server? The developer of Nostur got it pretty early on. I've got it, and now Amethyst is following suit.
