I'm home alone this evening with a cold while my wife and kids went to dinner with her family, so I'm watching the 1997 classic Dante's Peak.

Ugh... Really sorry throat today. I feel like there are things I want to do but I just can't work up the energy to do them.

We went to my daughter's art show this afternoon and her teacher had a "DC sandwich guy" t-shirt on. Art classes will continue.

On a side note, my students found my YouTube channel which I have not updated in about a year. Some have asked if I would make science videos again... I'm halfway thinking about it.

We're trying to pick a new paint color for the interior of the household and we are in the "conspiracy theory" stage of paint swatches on the wall. We probably could've hired a decorator to come for an hour and just tell us what color to use considering the number of samples we've purchased in the last six weeks.
