Any country folk have suggestions on how to get neighbors not to worry about your barn cats? They're friendly and they wander. They have asked to take one in as a house cat because they don't want him to get hit. I just...it's a barn cat. It isn't hurting their property but they have now started feeding it, so of course it wanders over.

I'm having a hard time turning my head off this week.

I'm out 😭 #Whamageddon

I am mentally and emotionally drained. I finished grades this afternoon and walked out. The room is still kind of a mess, but I can't see the mess from my house, so I'm pretending it's not there. I have two books from the library and an audiobook to enjoy. I'm really planning on entering as full of a break mode as I can get into.

Today in the classroom: Final exams for periods 4-6. Scoring frantically. Hopefully out of school today before 3. #teaching :cupofcoffee:

We made an impromptu stop at a department store today and, wouldn't you know it, the FIRST SONG over the PA was "Last Christmas." BUT it was a cover. Live to die another day. #whamaggedon

I haven't posted about this yet, but we're heading to my parents house tomorrow for my nephew's funeral. He died last week, very suddenly. I went down on Friday immediately after we got the call and came home to get final exams sorted so I could be out this week from school. There are no words. There is no reasoning. It's just heartbreaking in every way.
