We're at the end of a unit and I've had _wayyy_ too much down time in class. It's hard because some students are far behind and need some time to catch up, others are finished with everything and just have a ton of leftover time. I'm not striking a good balance this week.

Soma.fm opens a new window for the player. Is there a way to force it to open as a normal tab? I feel like Vivaldi should have some kind of power setting to do this.

I overslept an _hour_ this morning. I'm glad I set my alarm very early because we were still able to get out of the house without panicing. First year chem is reviewing for a test over the periodic table tomorrow. Second year chem is using the PhET atomic interactions simulation to learn the basics of bond length, bond order, and introduce molecular orbitals. #teaching #chemistry :cupofcoffee:

Today in the classroom: First year chem is doing flame tests to observe Bohr's model of the atom in action. This is our last lab for the unit. There is only one class I'm worried about. Second year chem learned about modern electron configuration theory yesterday, connecting the electron's wave properties to the subshell configurations predicted. They said it felt like a chill puzzle to figure out. We'll do more today. #chemistry #teaching :cupofcoffee:

I tried out Lawnchair tonight for a Nova replacement and ran into several bugs while creating folders for apps. So, I tried Mur launcher and hated it. Now I'm trying out Niagara.
