I think the only professional development I want this year is to watch master teachers of chemistry go through ratios and unit conversions with classes. Every year I re-work what I do and I'm not happy. I'm not really sure how to approach it differently so I just need a domestic tour of other teachers teaching. #teaching #chemistry

I'm still considering setting up a single user instance. I'm trying to go with a low-power Raspberry Pi 2B, which is up to date with Debian. I know nothing about C - it seems like a good option for that hardware, but am I in for a load of issues going in blind? My other option is gotosocial, but I would need to do more work to get a database set up and deal with media storage. #askfedi

#chemistry folk of the fediverse, does anyone have tips for cleaning well plates efficiently? We do a lot of microchemistry in this unit and cleaning these well plates is killing me. #askfedi

After a couple failures, I got a #cyanotype print to work. This is for #chemistry students next week to fuse art with chemical reactions. I was lazy and printed this on transparency paper. Next week, we'll take a walk and gather things to use. They'll also have the option of drawing on glass to create a negative.
