I think I dug a hole for myself in the #webdev class again. I offered groups a chance to build what they wanted using any skills/tools we've used so far this year. One group was to build a chat app (websockets), so they need a server. Two other groups want to make, essentially, CRUD apps, so I need to write up some DB schemas for them. I'm wondering if it'd be better to teach them some Node and they write up their _own_ server-side code.
There's a project I did years ago at an old employer that is tied to Sentry. I forgot to turn it off before I left and I'm not even sure it's still being used. If I delete my Sentry account (I don't need it at all anymore) will that cause issues on the client if they do happen to still be using it?
Do any #chemistry teachers have an equilibrium constant lab that does _not_ use iron and thiocyanate? I've been looking and looking, but I cannot find any other examples of lab procedures. #teaching #askfedi
We got notice of a case of Scarlet Fever in my older daughter's school yesterday. Seems like all the old diseases are making a comeback this year.
Yesterday's xkcd made me angry-laugh.
What's a good alternative to Postman these days for testing API endpoints?

#Chemistry fediverse, I'm reaching out one more time for help: I have a spreadsheet with rate data from testing a new lab [1]. The iodate showed a nice 2nd order result, but the bisulfite is throwing me off. HSO3- is confusing me. Warm had wide variations, cold did better. I didn't think temp would change the rate order, but I'm not sure what to do with it. Calculated cold ~ [HSO3-]^2, calculated hot ~ [HSO3-]^3.5. My math works, but feeling stuck on why. 1. #askfedi
Does anyone have an iodine clock reaction procedure they like for AP/IB chemistry? I've looked at a dozen or so that are a little too advanced. I'd rather not retype one if I can avoid it. #teaching #chemistry #askfedi
How do you go about a #CSS cleanup? This is not a redesign - more of an audit and rewrite to consolidate selectors that have sprawled into difficult to manage territories. Any strategies and tips appreciated. #webdev #askfedi
