After their silence, complicity, or even cheers during the genocide in Gaza, the outrage of progressive politicians and establishments over Venezuela and now Greenland feels hollow. It doesn’t feel real. It doesn’t feel principled. In moments like this, it’s hard to believe that good and decency will truly prevail.
I can’t stop thinking about what’s happening in Gaza right now. Israel is forcing out the organizations that actually save lives—Doctors Without Borders, the Norwegian Refugee Council—while groups that have harmed Palestinians, like GHF, are being handed awards and bonuses. #gaza #palestine
I can’t stop thinking about what’s happening in Gaza right now. Israel is forcing out the organizations that actually save lives—Doctors Without Borders, the Norwegian Refugee Council—while groups that have harmed Palestinians, like GHF, are being handed awards and bonuses. People are being starved, freezing, bleeding. And Israel celebrates the killers while kicking out the healers. It’s simple math. It’s raw, deliberate cruelty.
