I was catching up with my friend, @Hema Alshaer, this morning when he informed me that his son’s glasses have broken. His son, Mohamed, urgently needs treatment for his eyes. Until they can raise the funds for his treatment, his glasses are imperative to his health. Please share and contribute what you can, so little Mohamed can restore his vision and receive the treatment he needs.

My dear friend, @mohamednaji, wrote me this morning after I hadn’t heard from him in a couple days. “Yesterday the weather was very bad, I couldn't charge my phone. It was a tough day. The pergola I built when you sent me money, collapsed. Water pooled on it, it collapsed, and the wood broke. I felt so hopeless seeing what I worked so hard for destroyed in seconds. I'm so sad.”

The organizer of her campaign transferred her funds once, five months ago, and hasn’t been heard from since. This has resulted in Ghada not being able to share her campaign for fear of the funds being stolen or not transferred for other reasons. With the rain last night, there’s another surge in aid requests from our friends in Gaza. I know it can feel overwhelming, but it’s nothing compared to what they’re being forced to endure.
