The U.S. State Department has approved a major arms sale to Denmark valued at approximately $8.5 billion, consisting of Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS)-enabled PATRIOT systems and associated equipment. The package includes: • 36 PATRIOT MIM-104E GEM-T Ballistic Missiles • 20 PAC-3 Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE) Missiles • 2 AN/MPQ-65 Radar Sets • 2 Engagement Control Stations (ECS) • 2 Radar Interface Unit (RIU) Modification Kits • 6 PATRIOT M903A2 Launching Stations (LS) • 6 IBCS Software Launcher Integrated Network Kits (LINKs) • 2 IBCS Engagement Operations Centers (EOCs) • 2 IBCS Integrated Collaborative Environments (ICE) • 6 IBCS Integrated Fire Control Network (IFCN) Relays • 2 Electrical Power Plants III (EPP III) In addition, Denmark will receive a wide range of non-MDE (Major Defense Equipment) items, including communications systems such as AN/TPX–57A Identification Friend or Foe (IFF), Defense Advanced GPS Receivers (DAGR), secure encryption devices (AN/PYQ-10, KIV-77, KG-250X, IPS-250X), combat radios, tools, test and support equipment, generators, training systems like the Air Defense Reconfigurable Trainer, spare parts, technical publications, personnel training, field team support, U.S. government and contractor assistance, engineering, logistics, system integration, and related program support. The total estimated value of the package is $8.5 billion. image
