A Russian “Shahed” one-way attack drone struck an apartment building in Kharkiv earlier today, killing a one-year-old baby and at least two others, and injuring at least 15 more. The strike on the northeastern Ukrainian city comes less than 24 hours before President Volodymyr Zelensky is set to meet U.S. President Donald J. Trump and several European leaders in Washington.

The U.S. and Russia have reached an understanding on security guarantees for Ukraine, but further progress now hinges on Kyiv, Trump’s envoy Witkoff said. He noted that territorial matters will be addressed in Monday’s talks with President Zelensky, adding that Moscow has offered concessions involving five Ukrainian regions.

Explosions shook Ukraine’s southern Odesa Oblast tonight as Russia launched a large-scale drone assault targeting cities and infrastructure across the country’s eastern regions, just hours before tomorrow’s White House meeting between U.S. President Donald J. Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Earlier tonight, several explosions rocked the Yemeni capital of Sana'a in Houthi-controlled Western Yemen, following strikes by the Israeli Navy against the Haziz Power Station, which resulted in a significant electrical outage across the city and throughout other areas in the Sana'a Governorate.
