Israel has suspended its airstrikes on Syrian army targets following a request from the United States, according to Israel’s Channel 12.

According to the Washington Post, U.S. President Trump is likely to grant Ukraine permission to use its limited stock of the long-range variant of the MGM-140 Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS), which have a range of over 200 miles and were provided to the Ukrainian Armed Forces beginning in 2024 for their M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems (HIMARS), to strike targets deep inside of Russia.  Additionally, President Trump is said to be considering providing Ukraine with a land-based variant of the “Tomahawk” Land-Attack Cruise Missile (TLAM), which has an unclassified range of well over 1,000 miles and would easily allow Ukraine to strike Moscow, St. Petersburg, and other targets extremely deep inside Russia, even as far as the Ural Mountains.

According to the Israel Defense Force, dozens of Israelis crossed the border into Syria earlier near the Druze-majority town of Majdal Shams in the Golan Heights. The IDF states that forces are currently operating in Southern Syria to return them safely to Israel. It appears these are Israeli-Druze that are protecting the clashes in Suwayda.
