Here we are in 2025, and nothing has changed. Black, brown, yellow, white and every color incarcerated woman in between are forcibly housed with men who identify as women, most of whom are still fully intact and operational. Another harsh reality is that a large percentage of the people using gender self ID to transfer from men’s to women’s prison are violent s*x offender$. In California, transfers from men’s to women’s prisons are 33.8% registered s*x offender$. In the federal prisons it’s 47%. Clearly these laws and guidelines that were developed with the alleged intention of protecting vulnerable trans women are being used by master manipulators to gain access to a huge victim pool and avoid being violated because of the nature of their crimes.
If you think this is not happening we encourage you to reach out to your state’s department of corrections and ask what their policy is regarding the housing of trans identified prisoners. What are the requirements to qualify to get into women’s prison?
Things have not changed for women, they have gotten worse and until we stand up and defend our sisters inside and their right to serve their sentences in a women’s prison, life as we know it will continue to decline. What they do to them
they will eventually do to us. Know that we are her and she is us. Every injustice that is occurring in women’s prisons from coast to coast is all women’s problem.
