Big news! The second Aesthedes is working and the first one is now fully working! The Aesthedes, the first commercial available CAD-computer, from 1985, is now fully operational. 3 of the 6 screens are broken (but fixable, but the system boots and responds as should be. We're absolutely thrilled that we managed to get this one up and made the older one now function a full 100% as it was back in the day. #Museum #HomeComputerMuseum #Aesthedes
We have received this unknown Philips PC/Home computer. It looks like a Philips P2000, but it isn't. Chips from 1979, and it uses a Z80 CPU. Unfortunately, something on the board started to smoke while testing πŸ˜•. So, we don't know (yet) what it says on boot. This could be an unknown prototype of a P2000? Does anyone know? The counter on the internal power supply makes it feel like a prototype. You can not see this from outside.
