we are doing a picnic! spring is here, the sun is out and https://compost.party is online again. things are beginning to move. we'd like to breathe new life into the solar server and invite you to join and add your own experiments.
when: may 10th, 2025
where: tempelhofer feld, berlin, germany
we will bring the server onto tempelhofer feld, perform upcoming maintenance work, and set up plots on it for anyone interested. you will get help and guidance. we will create user accounts together, have a little login party, and together explore the oddity and possibilities of hyper-connected hardware from the cracks of obsolescence.
do you have an idea for a small website or a poem that is looking for a place to live? did you ever wonder how a server may perceive its environment? come and join us to find out! bring your favorite computing device and a picnic blanket, maybe some cake, snacks, or drinks to share and it will be a great time.
