THE Eleventy Meetup is always looking for speakers!

I was honored to have my piece 'Tank Dancer' selected for the Durham Art Guild juried show which opened last night. Tank Dancer is pastel, watercolor, and charcoal on paper. In this piece, I wanted to capture the way the dancer's movement and the material of her skirt interacted with the light around her as she danced. I used a mixture of watercolor, soft pastel, and charcoal applied using a combination of brushes and my fingers and hands. 18x24 #watercolor #pastel #mixedmedia #art
