@npub1thg9...zq23 @James Cridland loved the 2026 predictions show. Mine is that the sheer volume of AI Slop will provide the PSP with a new lease of life and spur them to co-ordinate an anti-slop strategy, given all parties hate it. This strategy should involve convincing all good hosting companies to remove any remaining free hosting plans. PSP then convinces all good directories to stop pulling from hosts that continue to offer free hosting. This will kill AI Slop Inc.

@npub1thg9...zq23 @James Cridland have you seen that odd PR put out by LibSyn that Rob Walch read out on his Podcast 411? Why would they kill The Feed? Why would a podcast hosting company choose not to have an official podcast? Everything about that feels wierd.

Looking for advice for Amazon kindle alternatives. Nook seems to be highly recommended, but Rakuten is still another mega-corp even if they aren’t quite as gargantuan as Amazon. How/where do you all buy your ebooks and how/which device do you use to read them?
