1/3 - Premium RSS In 2026 I believe podcasters will earn more money from premium content (paid) than advertising. Last year the US podcast advertising market was worth $2.4bn, however Patreon alone paid creators $2bn from premium content. Source: (Podnews) In 2026 'traditional' podcast hosts will need to adopt a new technology called "Premium RSS" which allows podcasters to include both freemium and premium episodes in the same RSS feed. image
