I’ve been a fan of SNL for over four decades. It’s a big swing every week they’re on and everything can’t be a hit. It’s a live show written in a few days. Big gamble. But for the life of me I don’t understand why anyone would want to see a fictionalized movie about it. Don’t we all already know all the stories? It’s like Drunk History without the celebrities. #SNL
I’m honestly shocked there weren’t a lot more casualties in Georgia. Armed with an AR-15, it could have been so much worse. Unless the assailant had really specific targets. Sounded like it was actually school resource officers that stopped him, which might be a first.
The last of the grandkids off to first day of school. Two different districts, a few days apart. We missed the oldest (8th grade) as he was too early and doesn’t appreciate grandparents hanging about the bus stop, juking his vibe. #BackToSchool

I haven’t smoked a cigarette in over 15 years. Never think about it anymore. Can’t believe I ever did. I was watching a video of Marc Maron talking to Tom Poppa and they were fingering a pack of Marlboro Lights, rather casually. Neither of them smoked any longer. It freaked me out a little. Not kidding. Stop touching the cigarettes. Stop it. They’ll hurt you. It’s not a joke. image
Was summer camp primarily a Jewish thing or just a wealthy thing? I love the stories of people who did summer camp. Sounds amazing. I never did it. It was never offered as an option. I was happy to have my public pool season tag. Went there every day. 12-5pm. Rode my bike. No money for the snack stand either. Just happy to be there. What I got was a mission trip to Colombia in 1981 to do construction for three months. I was 14. Lots of laughs those missionaries. Fucking laugh riot.
