1/homeland security has transferred 3 of the 4 Natives detained by ICE to a facility at fort snelling. They have refused to give the Oglala anything more than their first names until they enter into an immigration agreement with ICE. They are kidnapping and holding hostage Natives as a strong arm tactic to violate Native sovereignty, treaty rights, and right to self determination.

4 Natives detained by ICE in MN. Natives were born with our skin color weaponized against us. This is nothing new. I carry my social security card, Tribal ID, Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood, and drivers license with me at all times even as I know they probably won't protect me. Mark my words. There will come a day soon where Natives will be made to choose between our Nations citizenship and that of the so called united states. Those that don't comply will be forced to reservations.
I won't repost the video but I will say that the shooting today in Minneapolis shows why yelling "shame" at ICE will not, for the most part, work. They have no shame otherwise they wouldn't be doing what they're doing. There comes a time in every movement when you must decide if you're going to continue the same ineffective actions or if you're going to put everything on the line and RESIST. Now is that time.
