Can you do it in such a ways that the key stays on Amber and you just do the networking part and pass it along to Amber via NIP 55?
Then the online app for nip46 doesn't have access to the key and can't leak it.

I'm all for interoperability so no issues from me. can't guarantee it for 1.6.0 but happy to implement it. maybe even give user a choice (with an always use this option). let me think about it a bit but definitely on the to do list now.
additionally, i have toyed with the idea of allowing the Android app to hold keys, just trying to pace myself as there's lots I want to do (distributed signing for example) and I want to do it right.
If you don't hold the keys, you can play around as much as you want and have an app as big as you want. If you store the keys, then the size of the app is a massive risk.
