Morning #fitstr
Today is my "off" recovery day so...
IMT
Isometrics
Mace and club swings
Iron mind grippers
@YODL 30s on my first attempt at the dead hang.
@purrs_for_Her I do like the club. I need a little practice with the coordination on the new movements though.
Ideally I'll do all this again in 6 hours.

Dead hangs are surprisingly tough. Hand pain is a big factor too, so depending on the bar, could be a factor. First time I did it was for 35s, but that was at end of workout, and specifically after pull ups. Next time I tried was early in session, and I sorta willed myself to do a minute cuz that was the challenge ( @David II and @El Zeta and I were talking about it some, me being the newb). Probably longer than I "should" do them for now, as my hands were not happy with me for a couple minutes.
Makes me happy you tried them though, will be doing some later today 💪
Try nothing, this is a regular addition now. I'm on a thick bar but I won't let that stop me. 2 minutes seems to be the consensus ideal isometric so that's my goal.
I will say I didn't try to kill myself and ego through it because I knew kettlebell suitcase holds, club, mace, and grippers were in my immediate future.
dead hangs feel soooo good on my shoulder. ^.^
