You donβt have to wait until a creator/artist forces you to subscribe to their content. You can support them now on a regular basis, completely voluntarily, as you enjoy their content. We donβt need paywalls.

Yes this is the way! I try to do it myself more and more, keep zapping all content!
Proactive support > paywalls. Time to fuel the creators we believe in *before* they have to ask. #V4V for the win!
I think zaps will replace all advertisement driven online content in the long run, because consumers will pay a lot more.
If you watch a YouTube video with ads, that makes about 1$/1000 views.
I would pay 10x that, 1 cent per view, just so I don't have to watch ads.
Maybe creators expect too much or reach a too small audience π€
