so I googled it, and found that bitcoin mining does also produce PM 2.5, like AI data centers. 75.4% of bitcoin mines are in the U.S. 52.4% of energy used in 2024 to mine Bitcoin was sustainable (hydropower, wind, nuclear energy) so 47.6% of energy used in 2024 to mine Bitcoin created pollution. Which is still a lot.

Bitcoin mining doesn’t produce pm 2.5, just like how your refrigerator doesn’t produce it, or your washing machine. Look up Daniel Batten. He’s doing a lot of work debunking environmentalists
