Make the customer pay for - the equipment to wiretap them - a screen to play them adverts - the power consumption of wiretap equipment and advertising Granted, that's almost the security profile of a smartphone, - but THIS IS A FRIGGIN' FRIDGE! In exchange, save on a handle that would allow to access the contraption w/o electrical power in case of a power outage emergency.
