my first annoyance with Babbel is that it said i was not making enough mistakes and that it's going to skip over lessons because i was doing too good
it did NOT ask me if i want to skip lessons - it just skipped them
now i am making mistakes of course because i have no idea what it wants. this is fucking retarded.
it thought i already knew the subject because i wasn't making mistakes but it's just not in my nature to make mistakes ! maybe retards you could have just asked me if i already knew the subject instead of guessing for me ! ! !
in my experience 90% of the time software engineers fuck up when they try to make things too clever for no reason. you try to solve a problem that doesn't exist and create real ones.

True story - this is a terrible design but devs do stuff like this ALL the time.
At the very least there should be a manual override, like "would you like to skip ahead lessons? Y/N."
But to simply go forward to a too advanced position is insane.
don't worry bro i will live. but now that i think about it - it may be more sinister than dev foolishness. it may be egalitarianism.
remember "no child left behind" ?
IIRC that was a policy where the whole class was held back until the dumbest nigger retard in the class could pass. because EKWOLITAY !
in Babbel i was averaging 97% correct answer rate ( which is the same rate i also averaged in Physics and Biology for example back in High school ) but Babbel decided it was too high, since obviously a Nigger couldn't do this. so they basically banned me from attending lectures until my correct answer rate dropped closer to what Niggers could be comfortable with seeing others achieve.
realize that Shit-Libs do not think it is the job of education system to teach you anything of value. they believe the job of the department of education is to make everybody equal. they also believe this is the primary job of all other parts of government. their goal is not to improve anybody's situation but to eradicate "inequality"
their brains are simply unable to see people as unequal. they see all inequality of outcomes as evidence of a broken system and believe that any and all measures must be taken until outcomes are equal.
